Lighthouse of Cavalleria

The northernmost of the lighthouses of Menorca was inaugurated in 1857 to reduce more than 700 ship accidents that had happened on its shores since the fourteenth century. The white tower is located more than 90 meters above sea level, that’s why this lighthouse is surrounded by spectacular cliffs and is an excellent spot to enjoy the best panoramas of the entire north coast.

It is the only one that has an interpretation center. Without a doubt, the best part is its incredible sunsets, which have become very fashionable lately. We visit this wonderful place in the preseason in May 2018 and as you see, there are only a few people enjoying the spectacular scenery.

Spring is in full bloom at my cottage garden and at every corner little wonders pop up. I feel really blessed to have my own garden to enjoy springtime during is hard times of pandemic fear and social distancing.

Welch bezaubernde Einfälle ungewöhnliche Situationen hervorbringen können, konnten wir zu unserer großen Osterfreude heute morgen erleben. Diese beiden niedlichen Osterhasen hatten beschlossen auch in unserem Garten ihre Eier zu verstecken, ist doch Verstecken gerade zur Zeit ganz groß angesagt. Nach erfolgreicher Eiersuche konnte ich sie dennoch behutsam zu einem kurzen Fotoshooting hervorlocken. Wie jedermann weiß, sind Osterhäschen besonders scheu, aber sooooo niedlich, dass ich sie euch nicht vorenthalten möchte.

Auch und ganz besonders in diesem Jahr, dass die ganze Welt in eine andere verwandelt hat, mit unendlich viel Leid, Tod und Trauer, wollen wir auch der Freude ihren notwendigen Raum geben, denn genau das, habe ich stets als meine Aufgabe hier im Blog gesehen.

Freude erfordert mehr Hingabe, mehr Mut als der Schmerz. Sich der Freude hingeben heißt, genau so weit das unbekannte Dunkle herausfordern.
