Hallo lieber Gast

Autumn stroll through Tønder, Denmark and William Butler Yeats

 .

The last hint of light at this gorgeous day at Tønder, Denmark.

Best things about rainy Autumn days are that even lovely locations aren't crowded.

  There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.”

― Alfred Wainwright

Beautiful old houses with awesome windows and decoration.

And it rains cats and dogs the whole day.

Bikes, Bikes and more Bikes everywhere in Tønder.

We enjoy our walk so much!

A lot of Danish flags to see.

Aren't they cute?

The shops in Tønder are so, so beautiful and even more on a rainy Autumn day.

Nisse Heaven!! I couldn't resist and now we own a lovely boy Nisse. This shop was simply magnificent.

Empty streets, cold and windy but there where some "hyggelige" coffee shops too .
Hyygelig means nice, pleasant, cosy, comfortable.

Great food, very kind service. It's always so wonderful to visit Denmark.

She/He was waiting for some cuddles or simply enjoy these cosy plaids all around.

When You Are Old

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,

And nodding by the fire, take down this book,

And slowly read, and dream of the soft look

Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,

And loved your beauty with love false or true,

But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,

And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,

Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled

And paced upon the mountains overhead

And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

William Butler Yeats
