Hallo lieber Gast

- Paula Modersohn-Becker

New York City Feelings, 11 - Springtime

 .

Spring in New York City ( -> for more of my NYC posts,) is a very special thing. The air is full of promises, possibilities, spring flower scent, and the joy of life. The window reflections are even brighter, the Hudson River more blue and one believes that life is truly wonderful at this moment.

"This morning I wake to the blue-white light of an approaching spring in New York: the kind of light that promises it will not be this cold forever."

- Author: Tre Miller Rodriguez

I love New York, even though it isn’t mine, the way something has to be,
a tree or a street or a house, something, anyway, that belongs to me because I belong to it.

seeing Art in NYC is a journey through the centuries and superlatives.
This city breathes creativity with every building, museum, park and even with their people.____________

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.

I look out the window and I see the lights and the skyline and the people on the street
rushing around looking for action, love, and the world’s greatest chocolate chip cookie,
and my heart does a little dance.
