I'm not sure I agree with Nietzsche here, but he may be right anyway. I would rather have said that what you find at the heart of all art is suffering, But I may be wrong too!
Of your two photographs, I love the second more than the first, a matter of personal taste I suppose. Such a beautiful composition.
I agree with Roger - I like the second one better. As to Nietzche ....I agree . There is gratitude - to have created something unique, gratitude for the gift of being an artist etc. Have a great weekend.
